A day in Versailles, castle visit & bike

Visit of the King's apartments with your private guide

Your private driver will pick you up at your place of residence at 8am and drives you to Versailles with your personal expert guide. During the journey you will have time to listen to the first explanations of your guide about Versailles. You will discover the majesty of this palace, home residence of three kings of France, Louis XIV (the Sun King), Louis XV and Louis XVI. Your personal guide will lead you through the castle main rooms sharing with you History details and fun stories about the royal court. Once in Versailles your guide will take you via a skip-the-line entrance directly to the King’s apartments with its 7 living-rooms. Then, you will visit the famous Hall of Mirrors, a room that was made to impress Louis XIV guests with its marble, its gilding and its imposing mirrors. After the visit of the palace you will have time to walk in the ‘a la française’ gardens of the château, discover its fountains, groves, flowers and trees.

Bike in the castle's garden

After lunch, you guide will take you to the bike rental place in the castle’s garden and lead you for a 2h-ride through the Sun King’s domain, along the Grand Canal, near the Grand Trianon and Marie-Antoinette’s hamlet. Meet your driver and transfer back to your hotel around 4pm.
